Where are pictures on sd card

What folder on my sd card can i find my pictures from my camera....I have some pictures that i took of a physics project and need to get them on my computer

thank you very much....what threw me is the date of the last changed file in that folder said like April or something and i took the pictures yesterday

Lol..yea I hate how all phones name pics. Wish they would give an option after taking the pic to name it what you want.
