Where are folders created through gallery?

I created a folder through the gallery and moved a handful of pictures to it. I hid it by putting the period in front of the folder name. Now I'm trying to access the images directly through my files or astro explorer and I'm not having any luck finding them. Can someone tell me where they get created?

Did you look in DCIM?

Yeah, I looked there.
I made sure and checked show hidden files as well. I even tried making an easily findable name without the leading period and I couldn'tfind it .

Found it. /sdcard/pictures
