Gallery has no media anymore

I'm using the stock launcher. Last night I installed Astro and used it to create a couple folders to reorganize my pictures and movies (needed to get some out of sight as well). After I was done, I went back to the gallery to find no pictures or movies even though most were still in the same folder they started with. Any new pictures I take are in the gallery no problem but the only way to view the older ones is through Astro.

Any thoughts?

Well I figured out my issue.

When I created a directory called .nomedia on the root directory on the SDcard, that's when my gallery lost all the media. When I removed the .nomedia directory they all came back.

I created another .bc directory on the root of the SDcard with File Manager app instead of Astro and the gallery was still intact. Not sure if it was the name .nomedia or Astro that caused the issue but it is solved now.
