I imagine that is why we are seeing tiered data plans.

no i have not been throttled yet and i dont live around any ISP's (closes town is 45mins away) so i tether my phone for internet access for my laptop

That's all it does and keeps you on "watch" I guess. Now if they find out you're tethering they have a right to terminate your contract as tethering without the plan is a violation.

i just redid my contract and ordered the Bionic and i live 1000 yards from a 4g tower.
will they still throttle me even with a 4G connection?
