do you have an update on it?????
does it actually increase signal? i emailed htc and the answer i got was that it was an fme and was for an external gps antenna, if thats the case then no point throwing a cell phone antenna on it. and you can check signal strength thru menu setting about phone network, the lower the dbm level the better reception you have.

I'm curious also. I know this thread is old but I'm seeing the same port on my DROID4. I work in a school in which the reception is horrible. Also, I do a lot of hiking and it would be great to carry some sort of set up in my pack to use when on top of a mountain.
