Well after using many a BlackBerry... my last one Storm 9530, did it in for me.
1) Countless OS issues, making BB fall behind the pack.
2) RIM's anal-retentiveness on it's software/hardware.
3) Slooooooooooooooow browser speeds. My Storm would sometimes take forever just to go online, that it would actually time out!!! (wtf?)
I've been eyeballing what Android's capabilities were, and was starting to like what I saw. When the Motorola Droid came on the scene, I was a tad bit hesitant, due to Moto's past track history. But with the Droid they vindicated themselves (with the exception of the slide out keyboard... nothing is totally perfect).
Got my Droid on the second week of it's release, and haven't looked back since.:icon_ lala::byestorm:
I used a Samsung... something or other (don't remember and most of the details have been rubbed off) for so long that I had to get a new phone because the Samsung was not 'compliant' with the current network. It still works, mostly. Sometimes.
Had an EnV2... I was debating between a Blackberry or a Droid for my smart-phone debut. Decided on the Motorola Droid and I'm overwhelmed and overjoyed daily. I love this phone! <3:motdroidvert:
