What kernel(s) should I try with Froyo Kangerade v0.3.4

First of all: I'm running Froyo Kangerade v0.3.4. Is this a recommended version? I see there is also a Kangerade V5.0.9. What is the difference between these two? Should I "upgrade" to v5.0.9?

Also what kernels are you guys running with Kangerade? P3, Chevy's, other? I want to try a LV 1.0Ghz.

Thanks in advance.

I find for myself ChevyNo1 to run a lot cooler and smoother on Kangerade 509

Thanks, I'll give one of the Chevy's a try.

Why did you pick Kangerade 5.0.9 versus 0.3.4? 0.3.4 is last updated 6/29/10, why is there just a big version difference? Sorry for the noob questions.

There's a few theme upgrades, plus Apps2SD is working on 509. I just like to try and stay with Rummy's latest stable ROM's.

wise idea, and as highlighted, i too notice a lil cooler runs w/ Chev.
and 5.0.9 is practically very stable.

I'm using the stock 800 kernel with 5.0.9 and my battery life and heat problems are worse than with 2.1. Do you think a Chevy kernel will help and if it will which one.
I know this has been asked but I'm still not sure.

Yes, i agreed the stock seems to run hot. i think its a high(er-ish) voltage. i use Chv...Ultra low Volt 800k, like it ALOT.

I tried the ULV but I couldn't tether to my Ipad, tried the medium, seems better than stock and with some playing around got it to connect. Time will tell.

The best advice anyone hear can give you is try the v32 kernel that worked for your last rom or try a few and see what works for you. Kernels work differently for everyone.
