I have set aside about 20-30 bucks a month just to buy new apps... just curious if any others have done something similar.... also for market research... I should put up a poll

This is what I spent so far. If I see a few people highly recommend something, I get it. I never want to be "missing out" on something. Personally I think spending 40 bucks in apps and 20 bucks donation is peanuts for free music forever.

I also donated 20 bucks to AdamZ for the smoked glass ROM, since by far that was the best thing I've installed.

Grand total = 57.02

Pop Crowd - PRO Zoom Camera 5X $2.49 Better Android - BetterCut $2.16 Androidsx - AnyRSS reader widget 0.99- - Pure Grid calendar widget 0.99Com2us - HOMERUN BATTLE 3D $4.99 Jason L. its actually funny when i had the itouch i would just jailbreak and get the apps for free.So i rarely would spend anything at all.

Now even though i could still get them free i am willing to pay just to support the developers. They're the ones really improving my experience with my phone and paying couple dollars here and there is nothing, less than a value meal.

Don't have a budget but it sure seems to get under my banks skin. Chase is having a hard time understanding why I'm charging .99, 1.59, 4.99. They've called my wife twice asking if the charges are legit.

The only things I have purchased so far are Weather Widgets Donate and Better Keyboard. I won't spend more than a few dollars - and if there is a free alternative with half the functionality, I would rather use that. If you want my money your app better be very useful, unique, polished.

No budget here. If I want it or need it I buy it!!

We're talking mostly a few bucks an app so it's not that much. Haven't bought many games at all, those seem to be a little more expensive than the general apps which run what 99 cents to 2 bucks?

Most expensive app to date is Locale for ten bucks.

Funny how I hesitate so much to buy a $.99 or $1.99 app when I spend it so frivolously everywhere else. Food? Snack? Drink? Donation? Random crap I don't need but saw a deal for online? I will buy without even thinking twice.
Not sure why I think sooo hard before spending $.99 on an app that will make my experience so much better with something I use so often. Maybe I'm just cheap? Maybe I just want it for free? I guess that's just being cheap too.

Anyway, so far I've spent about $10. Will probably spend about $10-20 more after I get over this cheapo phase.

I'm the same way. Just this morning, stopped at BK and bought 2 orders of ciniminis, knowing full well we had great value sweet rolls at home I could make...and I was on my way home.

But I hesitate before buying, and if an app doesn't strike me as something great that I'll actually use, I refund it. I need to look into the refund policy. Don't wanna piss anyone off...
