Just wanted to chime in n say that I do believe wifi tether has been fixed to work on the bionic.

If you use this you have an EXTREMELY high chance of being caught. Not enough is known about the method, so if you intend to use it, realize that you are at Verizon's mercy and they can do whatever they want to your account.

i'm a noob for smartphone, but i rooted mine the day after i got my phone actually to somehow delete bloatwares
however, i accidentally deleted some insignificant preinstalled apps without backing them up. so i'm trying to find out a way to reinstall these bloatwares for potential OTA update later
if i can't, i would just wait for sbf file coming out and hopefully solves the problem with sbf. other than freezing bloatwares and backing up apps with TB, i don't see the point of rooting bionic
