what happened to he better Docs support?

Android seriously needs a native Docs app. Back in Sept it was announced that better docs support would be arrivikng in the coming weeks, has it come? If so I can't find it... Anyone got some new info on this?

I to am looking for this info, why can't I simply go to the docs.google.com and edit my docs. arrrggghhh
