What antivirus is better

I see that there are threads that say you do not need them and people use Lookout or wavesecure beta are there others people use. I tried the the lookout but Im not thrilled because it does scan after you download it, so anymore help from you Droid Masters?

I strongly recommend you do NOT use any of the available anti-virus apps.

We have had a host of issues from users here ranging form EXTREME slowdowns/lagging to rebooting and just overall severely degraded performance on the device.

So install and use at your own risk.

Antivirus apps just slow you down and interfere with other apps. Do yourself a favor, and forego the headache - don't download any.

WaveSecure is a backup/security app... not an anti-virus.

As others have said already in this thread, don't bother with installing an anti-virus. It will bog down your Droid, and all for not. There are NO CONFIRMED viruses for Android.
