HTC Incredible Microphone Issue
We're having the same problem with our HTC Incredible and have since we got it. Admittedly, I rarely call on my phone, it is more of the ultimate portable computer. But when I gave the Incredible to my wife after I got the Motorola Droid X, it has been extremely annoying.
Problem: The microphone sounds like it is NOT sensitive enough. Everything sounds soft and even dulled when yelling into the microphone. She almost has to cup her hand around her mouth and the end of the phone.
She does not have a case on the phone (it is the bare, as-it-comes phone). She is not holding her finger over the bottom or top of the phone, covering the microphone hole on bottom or the noise cancellation on top.
I am seeing this issue all over the Web in my search and no answers. It would be nice if there were a solution and it made known so people who actually use the microphone can be satisfied with their purchase.
