Weather Channel Widget permission questions

I've been looking at the weather channel widget but in the permission section you've gotta agree to it's got things like directly call phone numbers and send sms messages and add/modify calendar events and send emails to guests. It also says record audio and take pictures and videos. Its got 4 out of 5 stars and looks nice but I'm a little weary about agreeing to all of this. Anyone have this widget or have any experience with it? Or even recommend another one? Right now I have the weatherbug one but it doesn't seem too accurate and I'm always looking for something better. Thanks for any help or advice!
