We recently upgraded our office phone system, and one of the features is that it will automatically forward voice mails.

I am getting them on my ipad2 without a problem, but on my Droid X I get the message that there is a voice mail waiting on a wav file, but when I try and open it, I get the message that the system cannot open this type of file.

Anybody have a suggestion?

How are you getting the wav file?
Do you need to download it?

The X can play wav files by default, so I was assuming you were having trouble actually getting the file somehow.

Had the exact same problem - native android player wouldn't play my voicemail files. Had to get WavPlayer app (I think it cost a few bucks, but worth it).

I went to market and downloaded wav player and it works fine.
