2.3.3 no like WAV

Hi all,
My corporate voice mail system is able to forward voice messages as WAV files to my email. this worked great on my DroidX, even with Froyo. But ever since I did OTA update to 2.3.3 last month, I cannot play WAV files.

Are others here, running 2.3.3, able to play WAV files? I am interested to know if I'm the only one.

I have tried searching the forums, and heard that RockPlayer would work from older posts. But it didn't help me. I get the same "Sorry the system does not support this type of audio file"

App "WavPlayer" is 99 cents, and claims to help play WAV files, but the reviews are from 2010, so I'm not sure it will help fix my problem that SEEMS to be related to 2.3.3 in june of 2011.

I have attached a sample wav file, zipped. Thanks for any advice!

I have the same corp voicemail setup - it emails me a wav file of the message.

Got WavPlayer for $0.99 and it works fine. Started w/ Froyo and now stock GB.

Was able to play your sample file (although it sounded crappy)

WavPlayer fixed me up! Thanks. As a recap, I could play wav files fine in froyo from stock music app. With gingerbread update, I could not. Tried rockplayer, and that did not help. Thanks TXPearl!
