Washed droid razr for about 5 minutes, need help getting to work again.

Hey all, I'm freshly new to these forums. A little earlier after I got home from a long day at work, I washed my damn phone. It was in the laundry for about 5 or 10 minutes before I realized it.

I managed to get the Razr's back cover off and the battery out so I could dry all of everything that I could gently with a towel. I then proceeded to (while apart with no back cover and battery out) soak the phone in a nice rice bath to get any extra water out of the thing.

In the process of putting the battery back in, the small orange tape connection the battery to the phone accidently snapped, and I have no idea if that holds any importance whatsoever.

Right now, I have reassembled the phone. Upon trying to activate it, nothing happens. When plugged in to the charger, it flashes a red light for a split second on the notification light, and the screen displays the motorola logo that it usually does when it boots up. I have followed several things online to get to fast boot menus and such, and I have gotten to two different menus, but to be honest I don't know what is what. All I did was hold down an assortment of power / volume buttons until I got to a menu of some sort.

This phone is / was rooted, and a backup was made in Titanium Backup.

Does anyone have any advice on where to go from here? If the screen didn't do anything at all, I'd have lost all hope by now and gone to get a new phone, but seeing as how it's displaying the logo and able to get to a couple different menus, I'm not so sure it's too late to call it quits.
