Warranty Replacement Question

I just got back from the Verizon store and the guy told me I qualify for a warranty replacement for free. He saw the footprint logo for ZombieStomped when he booted my phone (it won't do more than show that logo and go to recovery). When I send Motorola my phone, am I going to be billed because they can prove the issue isn't a manufacturer defect? Or am I in the clear because the Verizon rep told me I qualify?

It doesn't matter what they say if your asking for replacement thru the warranty number they will check if the phone has been modified dropped physical damages, if they do find something leading to that event they will charge u
