Warranty replacement for a moto droid?

My keyboard slider has been really loose, so I took it in to a vzw store and they said it was a warranty issue and ordered me a replacement because they didn't have any in store. Are they still replacing droids with the same models? I remember reading threads on here where people were getting warranty replacements with totally different phones that they weren't happy with.

You're most likely going to get a D1 -- there was a shortage for awhile, and people were getting bumped up a model, but that typically doesnt happen anymore.

I would be happy with a d1. I just don't a lesser model.
