VZW Event in NYC. Possible 4G lineup release date announcements?

I found this on twitter a few minutes ago. Some are speculating it's the iPhone announcement date, but I'm thinking we're going to be getting the release dates we've been looking for...well I should say hoping.

What do you guys think? A whole event just for an outdated(albeit very wanted) 3G device, or a set date where the burning hole in our pockets will be unleashed?
