Try pulling out the rocker. Because it's also where the sim tray is...wedge something under the top, turn it towards your body and pop the entire assembly out..simtray and volume rockers...
It needs to pull out about half an inch straight out.

This ^^^, except that you want to use your fingernail, or possibly a plastic spudger tool and come at the center of the volume rocker from the back of the phone since the tray is designed to be reachable with just your fingernail slipped in from underneath. Should be an easy fix.

Phones should never be on display for sale in cases. Unless you're selling cases and not phones.
