Voice dial from Motorola H17 head peice

Hi, Has anybody heard anything about Droid changing their coding so someone can produce a voice dial app that works with the head piece? Right now I have MotoSpeak, and even though I can hear the commands through my ear piece, I must still push a button on the phone, then speak loud enough for the phone mic to hear me. This sort of defeats the purpose.

If you go with Froyo you can dial via the side button on the headset.
