Hi. I wanted to see if there is a way to change some setting so that when I'm recording video it doesn't just stop. It always seems to happen at about 17 minutes in, give or take. I record stuff live is why I ask, and the phone's small and convenient so it's not a big deal, but I don't want any cuts in it. Could it be that the phone is going to sleep or something? Looking for a solution.

It could be because you have the setting that enables the video to be sent as an attachment in a text message.

I've done a bit more looking around on this, and at 1080p I think about two hours should take up 8GB. So if your card has room, that shouldn't be the problem.

I started recording with mine, just for grins, at 1280x720 and it ran to about 27 min, almost 2GB. Not sure why it stopped. I noticed a couple of updates running so maybe that was the problem. I might test it again.

I am using a class 10 card and one post I read indicated a similar issue tied to class speed and manufacturer. So I don't know what you're using, or if you can try another, but that might be worth looking into.
