video editor for droid 3gp files

I have spent a lot of time trying to find an editor that will handle the 3gp files. I can't find any that don't suck and/or come with spyware. When I try to find a converter, the quality of the conversion sucks.

Why is this so hard?

Any ideas?

Have you tried avs?
I use it for videos from droid and other devices.
Works ok for me.
