video converting from the x to pc

I am having a problem with converting the video FROM my droid x. I load it up as is (.3gp) into sony vegas, and all i get is audio. Video is there, but all black. Then, i convert it to .mp4 or .avi, and still the same thing. I get audio, and only black video. This may be an issue with vegas, but any tips for me? it works great in adobe after effects, but i cant figure out how to use that program, and windows movie maker works too, just sux.

You probably need a codec. I know I can play 3gp videos using the CCCP codec pack... you may try downloading that or the K-lite codec pack

try downloading and using quicktime player
