Can't convert 3gp

I just got my Droid X and love it. I took a awesome video of my little girls soccer game and now i can't watch it on my pc. I've read a number of post on converting 3gp to another format and nothing is working.

Running windows 7 64 ulitmate
I've tried hand brake, Pazera free 3gp to avi, and Online converter - convert video, images, audio and documents for free

All of them say unrecognized file format

I tried playing it in quick time, same thing: unrecognized file format.

How do i convert this to any other format, mp4, avi, wmv i don't care

And why the hell are they still using 3gp as their file format

Why are you trying to convert it...why not just watch it in its native format? All you need is VLC Media Player to play them.

And you say Quicktime wont play them? That doesnt make sense as Quicktime is the native player of .3gp format...always works on my vids in that format...

No matter, just grab VLC and worry no more...

i think it might be my computer at home.. I tried the same files on another computer and quicktime could play them just fine. Thanks for the comment, i think i got it figured.
