My tmobile is penalty free now. I'm going to Verizon tomorrow. I'm looking at the 3 different 4G models they have plus the Motorola X2. My number one priority is connecting to towers and not dropping calls. Which current Verizon phone do you guys recommend? Thanks.
Depends what u want.. I just got the x2.. excellent phone but u will need to root it and run the v6 supercharger script to unleash its full potential .. not hard to do I will add.. it was my fav choosing between it and thunderbolt and samsung charge

You should consider the incredible 2 as it has more ram than the 2 non-HTC 4g phones and the X2. Also it just got a $50 mail-in-rebate. IMHO HTC makes the best phones anyways. If you know how to manage battery life, though, and are in a 4g area, the thunderbolt is the best way to go. Plus here in less than 2 weeks it will have OTA gingerbread, which adds some awesome features.

I think any 3G phone is out of the question, 4G phones do 3G and 4G data, and cost the same per month (any pretty much the same to buy the phone itself if you go the Amazon Wireless route). But yes, any phone on Verizon fits the bill for "superb call quality".
Since I don't want to upgrade for as long as possible I'm thinking more of the 4G so I don't upgrade and lose the unlimited data for as long as possible.
My opinion...Best all around 4g phone right now is Droid Charge. Thunderbolt will be ok if its problems get fixed. Don't get Revolution. Best 3g phone right now is incredible 2. Dx2 has memory management issues and will not be good out of the box.
I am loving my incredible 2. 4G has too many bugs right now. It's had what seems like a lot of downtime, and its a battery killer. I'm a heavy phone user all day long and usually don't have to charge my phone until nighttime. Plus, wirefly.com has amazing prices on the Inc2. Check them out before you buy somewhere else. I saved $150 over Verizons prices.
