There has been a small update released by Verizon for the Motorola Droid X. This update is designed to fix any minor bugs users might have experienced after they updated to Gingerbread on the device. Some of the issues that users were facing were:
  • Reduced battery life
  • Lag issues
  • Some instances of the Droid X rebooting itself randomly
This new version is 4.5.602.MB810.Verizon.en.US, and should be coming soon OTA. Let us know what your experiences have been in the forums.

Thanks for the info! I had noticed those issues since upgrading to GB. I like the look of GB, but especially the weird random reboots was a little disconcerting. Updating right now.

Downloaded, and we'll see if battery life improves. I'm running stock and haven't had any other issues on this X that I picked up used back in March.

On my rooted device the update fails. Pretty much what I expected, but was willing to try.
