Big Red just added another mid-range smartphone to their lineup, but this one has a slide-out QWERTY to distinguish itself. Verizon just launched the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II for just $129.99 on a new contract. Here's the scoop on its specs:
  • 4-inch 480x800 display
  • Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor
  • Slide-out QWERTY keyboard
  • Android 4.0
  • 5MP rear camera
Obviously the specs do not wow very much, but for those who need a budget-friendly device and prefer a physical keyboard, this might be just the ticket. Some rumors suggest that Radio Shack has this phone for free on a Black Friday sale. Obviously that ends today so you might want to check it out.

Couldn't see myself buying this thing, but it is a bit annoying. This phone uses the same processor/video as My S3, with less pixels and less "S" features. Basically, it will blow away the performance of our S3s, Razr Maxx, One x, etc. SMH!

Good device for the price. Not industry leading or groundbreaking, but I have friends with it who are def. satisfied.
