A beast for a midrange phone. Essentially a dual core version of the Nexus 4. Without the Nexus perks, of course.

I think this is pretty much Verizon's version of the nexus 4. Honestly I like the hardware on this one better besides the processor. Probably the best deal for a new phone out there

What justifies mid and high tier phones? I look at these specs and they are on par with the GS3 and RAZR HD. The only difference is the on contract price is $100 less.

That is a sharp looking phone for the price. Still not sold on LG but overall for the price that is hard to beat.

LG has been putting out awesome phones, but do not expect ANY support from them. If you buy their phones, you have to accept you will be on your own the day after purchase. it's just the way they are.

That being said, the Spectrum 1 is an awesome phone. But it was promised ICS at Q1 of this year...they just NOW got it. And the chances of the Spectrum 1 getting Jelly bean are basically zero. You cannot even get ROMs for it.

Let that sink in for a day or two before you rush out to buy this phone. Don't get dazzled by their awesome specs.

Support.

With LG, you are paying for the hardware at the expense of support. They have a (deserved) reputation for the crappiest support in all of Android. You will never see an upgrade for this phone. Count on it.

Yeah, this is looking much sexier than the Nexus 4. Ram isn't listed, but dual core, SD Slot, HD display; aside from having to worry about updates down the road this would otherwise be more than enough for the next two years.

True. Though LG did update the Spectrum and Lucid to ICS a few weeks ago with the Bionic, but that was like 6ish months after their release?

It's 1GB.
