Verizon now offering phone trade-in program

Guys Buy and Sell Electronics, Sell Cell Phone, Recycle Electronics - gazelle.com is way better. I got $100 for my Droid. They do consider the condition though but the prices are a lot higher than others who buy back phones. I sold many phones to them and the transaction is smooth. I wouldn't waste phones selling back to verizon lol.

Thanks for the link. I have wanting to get rid of my lg ally for almost two months. So do you send the phone in and they evalute. How long does it take to get the money and do they inform you as soon as they receive the device? I guess if I do it I should take a picture of the phone as I'm packaging it to avoid any possible problems.

The Droid Eris is MORE on Trade in than the Droid 1. WHAT!!??

Wheres my old Motorola Bag Phone, I bet I can sell that as a museum piece :p

My old Moto Razor not worth anything? GTFO...I've turned down $30 for that thing as it's worth more as my backup.

well I know where I can send my collection if I need $$ for something else

Is this trade-in per phone? Or can we trade in numerous phones that are at our disposal.

does a rooted droid work for this trade-in or will they not accept it?

From the link...

Service Unavailable

So, no, I don't think they'll be taking your Droid. If it's functional I can give you a good price for it, though. ;)

Since you're the only person to post in this thread in over two months, you.

The website you'd need to go to in order to trade the phone in is down, and who knows when/if they'll ever reactivate it.

through the verizon website, they are offering 132$ for appraisal the qualifications they ask for are...
1. can it make outbound calls on a calling plan?
2. does the display work?
3. is the display work?

a rooted droid can clear all those things. if you go to www.trade-in.vzw.com it will allow you to see if you can get an apparaisal for your droid/phone
