Finally need to use the thing and can't. On my windows work machine if you try to connect to the phones mobile hotspot (it does see it, has good reception) it will connect, disconnect, connect, disconnect, etc. Just keeps doing that and is useless.

Tried with another windows machine and the same thing.

Tried with a brand new Acer R11 chromebook and get signal out of range error.

With all of these machines they are able to connect to other wireless networks

Things I have tried.
Disabling authentication (wide open)
Mac filtering the devices
Changing the broadcast channel from 2.4 to 5 and back
Rebooting the phone and computers

Running 6.0 build MCK24.78-13.12

Any ideas?

You're on marshmallow , what device? Have you tried seeing if perhaps another phone might connect to it...or some other device? I see you said the machines will connect to other devices..just not your phones hotspot..

Under turbo 2 section so I'd assume T2. They also said the machines DO connect to other wireless networks without issues but they could still have old wireless drivers. Like the Chromebook throwing an error.

OP - are you on a UDP plan or tiered?

I believe I said the machines DO connect to other networks...and sometimes things get posted in other sections...so.it doesn't hurt to ask.

Forget network and try to reconnect. Happens to me sometimes with different devices/routers.
