Where can I get the Backup Assistant from Verizon forcm7? It no longer appears in market.

I don't think it could do any harm, no. Worst case scenario, reboot your machine...

Go to your settings and it will either be there or under accounts > add account.

But it is not there and when I try to restore it from TB it locks up.

ok, CM7 will not run Verizons Backup Assistant. The reason I lost some contacts was that when I add them I am given two options "phone" or "gmail". The gmail ones stay synced, but
the ones that I selected "phone" on are not syncing to anything.

So I need to stick with gmail syncing and/or export them into a file using Go Contacts.
