I have a RAZR MAXX that I have rooted and use every day as my personal phone here in the United States.
I will be in Costa Rica for two months soon. According to the specs the phone works on the 1800 GSM band. Since my phone is rooted, can I pop in a Costa Rican SIM card (prepaid with data) and just use my phone on their network?
Seems like I should, but I dont want to get down there and realize Im missing something big, I need the phone to work... Thanks!
