i have two droid-x`s
one with bad esn
one with good esn
neither one is activated
with vzw and the droid-x some people might know that unless your droid-x is activated then "use gps satelites" only will not work....you will never get a lock.
anyhow to get past this i installed the alltel rom for the milestone-x and that worked
and
i also reverted back to 2.2.340 (stock vzw rom) and then z4rooted it and installed droid2bootstrapper and then i installed the latest CM7 nightly.
anyhow if i do either of those then standalone gps works fine with no service/activation
what i would like to know is... will the rooted 4.5.596 and liberty for GB also work?
