Use Droid as Wifi keyboard

I want to use my Droid as a wireless keyboard for my WD Live TV Plus.. Reason being is it's a pain in the butt to have to type all of the crap out, when doing a search in say YouTube.. Can this be done?

I know gmote app will do this. However you have to install the gmote server on the device you will be communicating with. Its all free too

Never heard of this app, might have to check it out myself.

The only problem with that is that the WD Live TV Plus is a small media box with just firmware in it, no software.. So I would not know where to start with that.. I know that they say that you can hook up a USB keyboard to it if you want, but I'd love to do this over WiFi since my Droid is always on me.dancedroid
