USB question

Hey all,

When I connect my Xoom to my PC via USB, it opens up automatically. Unlike my OG Droid where I must enable access. After transferring files, o I need to do anything to exit USB connection or just unplug and go?

Is this another Honeycomb enhancement perhaps?

Its because there is no sdcard right now, once that is working in sure it will be the normal procedure, until then I'm going to just be unplugging it

Yea...the easiest way to tell is to open your computer folder and right click on the xooms icon and see if there is an option to eject it. If not then you should be alright to just unplug it...

There's a thread on this on the Motorola forums. A poster quotes a Google employee who says not having to unmount is a benefit of connecting via MPT vs. USB mass storage.
