USB Plug-in Sound ?

I just reverted to a stock 2.01 rom with just SU and busybox.

Whenever I plug in my USB cable to the computer, I hear my notification sound, but I don't remember ever hearing this before! It's getting kind of irritating with all the plugging I do. I even turned off the SD Card Audio Notifications and I still hear it.

Was this happening before and I just have a terrible memory? Or is there a way to turn it off?

I would also like to know if you can turn this sound off every time you plug it in.

I just turned my notification sound to silent in the Settings > Sound and Display menu, and then set specific tones for different apps like Handcent, etc.

disabling SD card notification should turn off any sound notification when plugging your phone into a USB port. when your phone produces the sound, is it the default sound you have set in your notification setting?
