Question: I never really thought of this until earlier when my antivirus scanner noted that I have some vulnerable points. I enabled USB debugging to root my phone. I also allowed the phone access to install unknown files. Now that I've been rooted, can I disable these settings, or is there need for them to continually be enabled for compatibility with root? Sorry if this is a no brainier question, I'm just not sure!
Thanks!

So my phone is plugged into USB and the phone is nor going into USB mode. I click on USB debugging and nothing happens. The little droid icon in top left corner of phone when debugging mode doesn't come up.

Swap USB cables or ports. Reboot phone if that doesn't work.
