USB Charging

I am attempting to charge my droid through my USB cable that came with the droid. However the droid does not charge. The screen shows the ightning bolt that it is charging, but it still does not charge. I selected 'PC mode" and "charge only" mode and it still doesn't charge. What am I doing wrong?

I've read that the phone has a tough time charging via USB if it is at a very low battery level, like dead. What happens when you use a AC or car charger ?

If the battery is very low USB will not charge it...

UDB puts out 500mA and the Droids take 850mA
