Us Droid Noobs need a Droid dictionary!

I'm completely lost when I see all these threads that say "rooted", "rom" etc. I think there should be a sticky for us noobs about all these terms. I'm coming from a blackberry so all I'm used to is hooking my BB up to DM and waiting for fail. Thanks in advance!
