upload contacts via Excel

I can not believe that all contact information nees to be typed into the droid via fingernail (ahem).

My contacts information is dispursed on pieces of paper - at home and at work.

If i go to the trouble to enter it into Excel - can i use that import en masse into my BIONIC?


My next question: Can I get all the email addresses out of MS OUTLOOK into my Droid's email files.
Of course, those I probably would have to type in corresponding tel #'s.

Sun Question: can the droid import electronic business cards?

Thsi would help me immesely to organize all this contact info into one UNIT.

Yes you can import contacts from a .csv file from the Gmail website. Click Contacts, then More button, and then Import. You can also import vCards from there as well. And I believe you can export your contacts from Outlook as a .csv.

yes it is possible to import contacts into the droid email as i know it's very frustating to manage all contact to in a single unit. As i use to face the same problem while managing my contact and for that i use a free download software http://excel-to-vcard-converter.blogspot.in this which help me to convert contacts from excel to vcard and after that just synchronize this contact in your outlook and a droid email .
