Upgrade made buttons vanish

The recent software upgrade made 2 important buttons vanish: the phone dialer and the "access all apps" buttons. ow can I get these back?

The access all apps button just looks different. You can assign what buttons you want at the bottom.

You can use an alternate Home app also, so you can place these buttons anywhere on the screen. Personally I prefer Go Launcher, but there are many great ones out there. Also, if you ever have a problem like this, and cannot find an application, but you can get to your home screen, long press on an empty space on your home screen, and when the menu pops up, there should be an option to place an "App Drawer" on your screen. Place that, and that will give you access to all of your apps. Hope this helped!
