Upgrade eligible and have the X, any good reason to upgrade to Bionic?

I like my DX for most of what I do so other than 4G what would I gain?

The Bionic is a bit faster than the X but if you don't have 4g and are happy with the X I would hold off for now there are plenty of good things coming in the next few months. And faster processors coming next year.

I went from DX to Bionic and I love it
But then again I am in a large 4G area so I may be swayed by the sheer speed of the experience.

The phone itself is an upgrade tho.

I upgraded to a Bionic and it is very nice and faster .. 3G in my area and actually never had 4G kick in anywhere .. there is always a better phone out there the next day and it will always be that way.

I got the Bionic for the faster speed. I DON'T have 4G/LTE in my area. May get it next year. I HAD the Droid X. Loved it. I miss it. The camera on the X was 10000000000000% better. But I'm hoping FW updates will help fix some of the SW issues on the Bionic in that way. I guess 2 reasons for me. 1 The display. Yeah it's a PenTile. But outside viewing is TERRIFIC! Speed. I NEVER have to FC any apps or have the phone get sluggish. As for 4G. I'm content myself with 3G. Does everything I need PERFECTLY. Speed it blows the X out of the water.

If you're content yourself with 3G wait till you get that baby in a 4G area. Be sure to have fire retardant gloves on, though.

I couldn't see the display on my X while outside in any kind of weather (sunny, cloudy). With the Bionic, you can see it while the sun is shining directly on to the display! I also think the B is a pretty big step up from the X. I have both and to me they dont compare. The B is sooo smooth and fast and next gen feeling!

I had the dx and I have to agree the bionic is way smoother.... I enjoy the upgraded blur and quick contacts widgets .. also my dx would always heat up especially while charging... I couldn't get the bionic hot if I tried!

You would gain dual core cpu, HDMI mirroring and zumocast to name a few. I have an X also, and have been sorely tempted to upgrade, but like you I am not in a 4G coverage area. So, I'm holding steady for now and intend to upgrade to the next model. Rumors are it will be the Motorola Droid Razr. I've had my Droid X for almost 1.5 years and it has sold me on Motorola.
