Howdy,
If your a 3g customer with Verizon, you might have 4G coverage.

I am not sure why I now have 4G. I am so much out in the sticks, I was hoping for good 3g speeds. Now I have 4G running 35ms around 18Mbps down/15Mbps up.

Northern Virginia, out towards Winchester, VA

Motorola Droid Bionic, changed network to LTE, boom, 4G coverage. dancedroid

And the Verizon Wireless 4G coverage map is updated and shows this coverage too.

Now I understand what all of the rest of the US means when they say they have fast internet. NICE

Howdy,
The thing is... Winchester, Virginia was never on any announcement or press release.

If you have a 4g capable phone(me= droid bionic), try changing the network from the cdma to the LTE and see if they turned it on in your area. With the new family share plan stuff, they are trying to get everyone over to 4g. The 3g has been struggling out here at around 1mb down and 600kbps up. I figured that was the way it is at least for another 4-6 years.

No press release, but 4g is on and working.

Northern Virginia

any one else now have 4g working?

I'm in Anderson, SC, and 4G kicked in about a month ago. No notice, no warning.

I live in civilization in SNJ and I don't have 4g yet. Where are you moving to?

AT&T 4g is closer to 3.5g It's not a true 4g LTE. It's a HSPA+ network. It's not as fast as an LTE network.
