Updating with Root Question?

Ok, so I didn't find a thread that really answered all my questions, so I'm rooted, but I want to receive the new 5.5.593 update.

What are the steps of receiving the update? I read that maybe I need to use released restore or something like that before doing it? I'm not really positive on what to do, If somebody could list the steps out, would greatly appreciate it.

use this http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...70-r3l3as3droot-43v3r-root-bionic-v2-1-a.html i basically had liberty rooted ...so i used this to go back to full stock .. then it rebooted while still plugged in i signed into my account on phone waited then followed promts to hit any key to root my phone in charge only mode after it reverted me to stock ... then i unplugged and updated via/ about/ phone .. i am now rooted with the 893 update .. just having alot of issues trying to reinstall the Liberty rom again .. however the udpate did wonders to my bionic already . i might just keep the stock rom

I did this, followed step one and done with everything. When the update is installing, it says "Failed to Update"?

did you by any chance have the leaked OTA update prior to trying to do this method , cause i didnt and ive heard of people whom did have the leak version proir having issues ... all i can say is try it again ... hold volume button down then power wait a few seconds let go / plug into your PC and run that 4ever root again .. once its done while hooked up still go ahead sign in then switch to charge only mode .. when it resets you remember YOU HAVE TO go to settings and check off DEBUG mode again .. after you are rooted try and grab the update .. all im saying is try again give it another shot ... other than that i cant help you i tried ... sorry bud

Thanks for the help, I just went ahead and ran the 4ever root option again, the update is downloading now, I'll let you know if I get it.
