That is entirely up to you.

If you brick your phone...yes, that will negate your warranty. If you follow instructions and do your reading properly, you will be fine. And if you need to turn in phone for warranty purposes, there are ways to flash your phone back to stock and they would never know.

I just downloaded z4root. In the market and rot my fascinate in less than 15sec. And I can un-root with the same app if needed. Make sure to donate to him for a grate job.

O ok so my wife haas a incredible and they got an update this morning. This update came with vcast and some other apps that got installed on her phone. This update that we are supposed to get, is it something like that?

just make sure wifi is off. for some reason it has to be on the network.

No it checks for updates when I'm connected to my wifi. I always keep wifi on.
