I never had any issues here I what I used,
Motorola drivers 32
Rsd lite
sbf.602

The first sbf failed and I tries again but no luck.

If anyone has any pointers that be great

What kind of phone is it? You may just need a new sbf. If its a DROID 2, I may even have them.

Honestly, my experience is not with DROID x. But the way I look at it is if its bricked, its a paperweight, just keep trying to find a fix. Your version of rsdlite looks good. I would try using a different sbf. Here's a couple sites I use:

I swapped out drivers etc no luck.

You could always try the Linux iso SBF method. In my experience with the DX, it's pretty much never truly bricked unless you dropped it in a lake or something haha. I've messed my X up in pretty much every way you possibly can and it's still going strong.

If you were on. 621 and sbf to. 602 it will not work you will have to get the. 621 sbf to unbrick but unless you use Linux root there is no other way to reroot the Droid x due to last ota
