Uneditable Contacts?

Sadly my first post is a question.

First time rooting my phone and using Liberty.

I've got everything working great except that my contact list won't let me edit them. For instance, my friend got a new phone number and I go into my contacts list, click edit, and it tells me that it is unable to.

Have I done something wrong for this to occur? I cannot seem to find a solution.

Is the contact on there because of Facebook sync? Facebook pulled information cannot be edited.

Also go to you accounts settings and your linked gmail account and make sure the sync contacts is enabled.
