Unable to talk while tethered?

I'm using PDFNet which tethers from my DroidX just fine UNTIL I make or receive a call. Then it stops providing internet access to my laptop. Do I have a setting wrong? Is my signal too weak? Does it not allow voice and data traffic at the same time? Help!

CDMA phones cannot do voice and data at the same time, unless the data is on something like wifi.

Welcome to the board. Hope you are enjoying the X. I absolutely love the screen on those things. I hope being called a troll doesn't discourage you from participating in this forum. that is not a normal greeting here and I hope you continue to ask any and all questions you may have.
