UD 9 is coming

Guys I'm a huge ultimate droid fan its my favorite rom, a huge supporter, now b4 i say what I say understand I really could care less if he never drops another release, but 2 failed releases & after saying it was compltely finished, I mean the guy provides free product which is arguably the best rom out, I mean take all the time n the world but telling ppl ur gonna release it twice & not deliver is gonna cause sum friction
Try chevy's new rom its the bomb diggity!!

Not trying to support some negative comments in a thread, but if you look a few post after, he said he is really looking forward to UD

I am looking forward to UD I understand the need for "30 day vacations" but the more that it gets brought up, it gets old, how about we just leave it as UD will get here when it gets here, he said he has been under the weather, so everyone in here should just say, hey, he is doing us a favor by creating a rom we like. how would we feel if we saw this thread and we were doing someone else a service?? yea flaming sucks and its rude, but the threats....eh....

I agree, I am just looking forward to it, nothing can replace UD, UD 7 was awesome, but 8 isnt doing it for me, so I am using bugless beast .05. to hold me over...They are both great roms, but im waiting for UD 9

Im just curious as I just started using UD on version 8.0, But what did like about UD 7 that wasnt on UD 8? Or whats wrong with UD 8?

nothing is really wrong with ud8 its just some apps force closed on me when they didnt in ud7 but the app that did that, isnt like a vital app, so it was whatevs for me, probably permission issues

I've had a couple of force close's on UD8, but it doesn't seem to be that big a deal. That being said, I'll be patiently waiting on UD9, based on my absolute AWE of UD8. BD has done an amazing job on this ROM, I've flashed several and this is the coolest, by far. (One thing though.... my wife can't figure out how to use my phone as a phone, without the phone button on the dock. )

Vulcan in no way I meant that to be flamming, ppl are anxious for a release its not come yet so its rubbed sum ppl wrong I just suggested a great up-to-date rom 2 flash 2 help calm their nerves, if bashing UD n the name of CHEVY would've been my goal I think I would have been lil more out there w/ it, just a suggestion & the min BD decides to release it I'll be flashing along side w/ others & by that time EVERYONE will be enjoying the best rom out

I know what your talking about, so far ive been running shadow rom, cm6 and a few other roms, right now im running ss 4.8 and im not being satisfied!! WHERES UD dancedroid

UD has been my "home" rom since the first froyo leak UD has always been ahead of the curve it seemed I can't wait 4 UD9, being used to updates every week or 2 bd spoiled us lol ss4.8 is a great rom but there's just that special BD magic that makes UD so special

I am running SS 4.8 right now. Its not as fancy but it does seem to run a little smoother. I tried UD 8 first then BB 0.5. I think UD 9 will be where its at. BB didn't work very well for me at all.

I've been having cpu temps problems, with stock kernels & chevys it started w/ shadowrom, but it happened on sapphire too, I thought it was just when I was charging it but w/ moderate use not even watching videos just txting, tapatalk, & twitter it'd get up to 50*C & just go back down, constant up&down it wasn't as bad w/ ud8 but still happened but ever since ss4.8 no problems at all, hopefully ud9 won't either

Since UDEx 8.0 was the first rom I've ever ran I really don't have anything to compare it to. But I too really think it's great. I had a few issues with 8 but most of them were operator error. I still have a few minor issues but nothing I can't live with. I'm sure BD will release 9 when it's ready, hopefully after some intensive testing. I know he was in need of a Droid 1 and he also had a small problem with some food posining (sp). So that's my two cents......

Today Ive been experimenting a little trying out about every rom that I have not yet ever tried & for me & my phone nothing beats UD8....CM6 is the only other comparable rom....hopefully some of the minor misc bugs that were in UD8 will not be in UD9.

Dunno about the other guy but I'm loving it, got the chevy blue theme trying out the ulv kernels running smooth & fast
